Typography has had a huge design presence in recent years due to many reasons, some of which include the growing public appreciation for design, the increasing support and adoption of web typography, and the empowerment of typography in the hands its of end users. If you yourself are about to dive into the deep end of typography, it might be helpful to try your hand in some of the familiar favorites you’ve probably seen used in various places within the past year. So without further adieu, here’s a list of our favorite fonts, for both web and print, brought to you by the designers at DT!
Have any great fonts you’ve recently been going back to over and over again? Be sure to let us know in the comments below so that we can feature it in future posts!

Hi Blake, the font you’re referring to is called Architect’s Daughter and it’s a google font so use it to your web-heart’s content!

A great mix of both contemporary and traditional classics —well curated. I’m glad to see a fellow appreciator of http://www.losttype.com they really do have a strong collection. Leaving aside the free and cheaply available for a second, I have recently invested in a small selection of Klim Type Foundry fonts which are just fantastically crafted and a pleasure to use —these I’ll be going back to again and again! Available on http://vllg.com/Klim

I think it’s invite only or subscription based, but they have quite a terrific collection that can help you determine which font to use on your project too.
