Digital Marketing Specialist

As a Digital Marketing Specialist you will be the driving force behind your client accounts, developing, managing and executing online business strategies. You will assist the director in organizing, managing and monitoring ongoing digital marketing campaigns. You will work closely with your clients and dt staff to understand, envision, shape and execute short and long term digital marketing campaigns. Ensuring all campaign goals are met each month, you will be proactive in recommending new marketing, creative and development components to further drive the success of your client accounts.

You must be Search Marketing and Social Media savvy and competent of current and future optimization trends and technologies. Strong research and creative solution skills are a must. Web technology knowledge - understanding the concepts and relationships of databases, web programming languages, and website analytics is preferred. Copywriting experience is a bonus.

You will be responsible for implementing client digital marketing campaigns, managing these campaigns on both project and reoccurring basis. This includes SEO, PPC advertising, link popularity building, blogging, social media marketing and strategic tracking and reporting. Consistent team interactivity and client support is imperative.

You will utilize standards in place for the production/development teams to adhere to best digital marketing practices. You will also be responsible for updating or altering these standards to meet the needs of each project or improve the overall process. With the help of the department head you will determine the best marketing path for each project. You will also interface with the production/development teams to implement the online engine marketing strategy for each client.

Required Competencies:

  • 2+ years experience managing SEM and SEO
  • 1-2 years experience managing permission-based email marketing
  • 1-2 years experience with online PR
  • Experience with the creation and marketing of blogs
  • Constant passion for continued education in Internet Marketing
  • Extensive knowledge of website analytics, clickstreams and experience using data to segment and target multiple markets
  • Manage the ongoing and new marketing campaigns of the digital-telepathy website
  • Constant research of education on the subject of Internet marketing
