Are you proficient in social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace, digg.com and YouTube? Do you read up on the latest Internet news, web app launches, and the next generation of the Web? Do you love brainstorming, working in groups, and taking immediate action upon request? Then this is the perfect internship for you! As a Social Media Intern, you will learn how to leverage the power of social networks as they related to marketing and business including:
- Web 2.0 marketing strategies
- How social networks are an extension of your brand
- The value of viral marketing
Responsibilities:
- Assist the marketing department in the development, execution and optimization of marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with team of marketing, design and UI specialists
- Contribute to marketing department's strategy including brainstorming, market research, social networking, and Internet marketing strategy
- Create and maintain social networking profiles
- Promote the Champion Sound web app through social networks and other marketing channels
Qualifications:
- Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
- Strategic thinker and keen sense of the Internet
- Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High energy and ability to work well in a team environment
- Exceptional research skills and the ability to recognize trends in any given industry
- Currently working towards a bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business/or similar
Required Hours:
- 20 hours a week
- This internship is unpaid but will give college credits
